Hale's wobbegong,
Orectolobus halei and the Ornate wobbegong are quite similar to each other, but markedly different from the spotted wobbegong. They have fewer dermal lobes and a generally
darker appearance. There are lines of black spots along the margins
of the saddles.
O.ornatus & O.halei were classed as a single species until 2006. Hale's wobbegong is a much larger animal.
