Hale's wobbegong

Orectolobus halei, Hale's wobbegong
Hale's wobbegong, Orectolobus halei and the Ornate wobbegong are quite similar to each other, but markedly different from the spotted wobbegong. They have fewer dermal lobes and a generally darker appearance. There are lines of black spots along the margins of the saddles. O.ornatus & O.halei were classed as a single species until 2006. Hale's wobbegong is a much larger animal.
