Brachaelurus colcloughi Ogilby 1908
Colclough's shark
blue-grey carpet shark
Colclough's shark, Brachaelurus colcloughi, is ash grey above and white below. It has a single long barbel on either side of the mouth. Brachaelurus colcloughi, is very similar the blind shark, Brachaelurus waddi. There are small differences in the fins and the blind shark is yellow underneath.
Distribution = Endemic, central east coast of Austraia
Max size = 60cms
Family = Brachaeluridae
