Labroides dimidiatus, blue-streak cleaner wrasse

Small juvenile Cleanerfish, Labroides dimidiatus, are black with an iridescent blue line along the top. Adults are grey above and yellow below with a black line in between. Juveniles work singly , adults in pairs. They clean larger fish by removing, parasites, wound tissue and food scraps from the skin, mouth and gills.
They work from preferred locations , known as cleaner stations. Customers may change colour so that parasites are more easily visible.
