Abudefduf bengalensis, Bengal sergeant

The Bengal Sergeant, Abudefduf bengalensis, is silver with 6 or 7 black bands. It may be solitary ,in small aggregations or in schools.The Bengal Sergeant feeds on algae, gastropods or small crabs. Males guard eggs on cleared rock faces, large groups may protect areas containing many egg sites.
