Sufflamen chrysopterus
half-moon triggerfish, black triggerfish
Pictured left, is a juvenile half-moon triggerfish, Sufflamen chrysopterus. The juvenile colouring is distinctive with a dark upper body and white lower half. In adults (below) the entire body is dark. the white edge around the tail and the yellow line below the eye are characteristic.
