Meuschenia trachylepis
yellow-finned leatherjacket
Adult yellow-finned leatherjackets, Meuschenia trachylepis, have pale yellow fins, except for the tail which is brownish with a white posterior margin and a white mark across the middle. There are blue lines along the back and the base of the anal fin and patches of distinctive brown markings along the sides.
Juveniles are brown to bright green with blotches along the body |
