The Eastern Cleaner-Clingfish, Cochleoceps orientalis, is yellow to orange with red spots and purple dashes. It has no scales, but is covered by a thick mucus. The Eastern Cleaner-Clingfish has a sucker on its underside with which it attaches to the rocks, kelp, sponges or ascidians. It doesn't often swim in open water. Cochleoceps orientalis cleans a range other fishes. Eggs are guarded by the male.
