Jewfish or Mulloway,
Argyrosomus japonicus, is silver
to brown depending on habitat. The caudal fin pointed in juveniles,
upper half slightly concave in adults. There are distinctive pearly spots
along lateral line. Jewfish is usually found in large schools
Distribution = Exmouth south to Brisbane
Max size = 2m, 61kg, usually 1.5m
