Balistoides conspicillum, clown triggerfish

The juvenile Clown Triggerfish, Balistoides conspicillum, (left) are black with large white spots all over the body.They have yellow lips and and snout , the eye is hidden in a black area.

In adults (below) the large white spots are only on the lower half of the body. The snout is black .

Clown Triggerfish are usally solitary
