The adult Starry Toadfish, Arothron stellatus, (pictured left & below) is light coloured covered with dark marks forming a mosaic pattern.
Juveniles are a yellower colour, with fewer spots on sides and curved black bars on the belly.
Very small juveniles are stripey.
