The leaf scorpion fish, Taenianotus triacanthus, has an extremely thin (laterally compressed) body with a greenish brown colour. The Leaf fish is uncommon at Julian Rocks. This one came in December 2006, it was seen regularly in exactly the same spot for over 2 weeks and then it disappeared.
