Caranx melampygus Cuvier 1833
bluefin trevally
The Bluefin Trevally, Caranx melampygus, can be recognised by its bright blue fins. It also has small spots on the upper part of its body and a deeply forked tail.
Distribution = widespread tropical Indo-Pacific
