The Eyestripe Surgeonfish, Acanthurus dussumieri, has a yellowish brown body covered with irregular blue lines. It has yellow patches around the eyes joined by a band. The dorsal fin is yellowish and the tail fin is blue with black spots, and yellow or white at the base. The retractable spine on the caudal peduncle is white, attached to a black area.
Distribution = Indo-west
and central Pacific.
Max size = 50cm
