Upeneichthys lineatus Bloch & Schneider 1801
blue-lined goatfish
Pictured left is a juvenile Blue-lined Goatfish, Upeneichthys lineatus. The colouration of this species is very variable ranging from almost white to bright red.
Distribution = Endemic, southern Qld to eastern Victoria
Max size = 30cms
