southern silver drummer
The southern silver drummer, Kyphosus sydneyanus, is silvery with black tail and a distinctive black spot below the pectoral fin base. It feeds mainly on algae and invertebrates.
Distribution = southern Australia, NSW to central WA
Max size = 75cms
