Trachinops taeniatus, eastern hulafish

The eastern hulafish, Trachinops taeniatus, has distinctive red, black and yellow stripes along its upper surface and is white underneath.They are long thin, agile fish. Trachinops taeniatus are often seen in small groups> "dancing". Males, in small holes, guard and protect egg clusters by wrapping their bodies around them.
