Bodianus perditio Gaimard 1835

gold-spot pigfish, golden-spot hogfish

The juvenile Gold-spot Pigfish, Bodianus perditio, (left) is yellow with a white bar and black patch. Adults (below) are reddish, the black patch remains and white bar becomes a yellow spot.
