The tuberculate urchin, Heliocardis tuberculata, is a bright, reddish brown, the spines are oval in cross section and blunt tipped.
Distribution = southern Australia to Southern Qld
Max size = test diameter about 10cms, spines about 5cms long
Family = Echinometridae
