Echinaster luzonicus
luzon seastar
The Luzon Seastar, Echinaster Luzonicus, is a reddish orange colour with dark tips on the arms. Whilst seastars generally have the ability to regrow injured arms, most are usuallyl seen intact and with a standard number of arms. Echinaster luzonicus however is often seen as fragments or in various stages of regrowth. Six is most usual number of arms. |
