Panulirus longipes Milne Edwards 1868
long-legged cray
The long legged cray, Panulirus longipes, can be recognised by its unusually long legs.
Characteristics of this family are a carapace which is roughly cylindrical, long antennae, and a first pair of legs which are not clawed.
Distribution = Indo-west Pacific
Max size = 30cm body
Family = Palinuridae - rock lobsters and crays
