I was born in Germany and learned to dive there.
When I first came to Australia in 1998 I found a very different diving experience and fell in love with it. I decided on a career change and completed my Dive Master and Instructor training in Byron Bay and Sydney. Since then I have been working in the Maldives, and visiting Australia for holidays.
Diving in the marine park at Julian Rocks is so different from diving in areas where there is commercial fishing. The variety is enormous, from tiny shrimps and nudibranchs to large pelagics. Changes in season and in conditions mean that every dive is different and there is always something new to see.
